Welcome to the unofficial website of The Computimes, the first of its kind in the history of engineering studies. It is the official newsletter of the Computer Science & Engineering Association, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, at the prestigious University College if Engineering, Trivandrum (UCET).
The inaugural issue came out in March 2001, an amateurish, yet brilliant effort by a team of budding engineers of a newly started engineering college, within two months of establishment of college. After that, there was no looking back, with three more subsequent issues coming out at regular intervals.
From a 10-page newsletter to a 28-page magazine with cover, it was a phenomenal growth of this innovative idea, both in terms of content and its maturity.
This website is the next milestone of The Computimes, by making its content online, so that its dedicated readership is able to refresh its memory from anywhere, anytime. This also doubles up as yet another forum for the now dispersed students of 2004 batch of UCET to relive their golden moments of college life. With a host of other services like making available online the syllabus of engineering streams, downloads of e-books relevant to engineering, links to job-search sites etc, The Computimes continues the tradition of being the indispensable friend to every engineering student.

The University College of Engineering , Thiruvananthapuram, is a direct undertaking of the revered University of Kerala, with the singular motive of becoming a model institution for technical colleges within the state and the country.
